just in case anyone is wondering, those were just renderings but resulted in a real life CH-R build, here it is:

 

I've come across quite a few highly bespoke C-HR's lately. A few of the better ones have come from JR Parts Centre.

 

I was hoping to see these companies take some cues from the Will I Am widebody Lexus NX.

Its clean and aggressive, exactly what the CH-R needs

 

Came across two more nice looking builds. First is from Kuhl Racing and the second is from Lexon riding on Vossen wheels.

 

Got my CHR back from the shop a week or so ago. After ogling the Modellista body kit I decided to get it.

 

Does the LED strips on the Modellista work with the USDM model?

 

WretchedMouse did you paint your calipers or those are covers, I'm looking for calipers covers for my CHR.

What a huge difference that body kit makes. Looks great @WretchedMouse. Check out this C-HR 1.2 that's taken the LExus IS F quad exhaust from Rowen. Overkill?

 

Dang, that's nice. I don't think it is overkill, i love the chunky look. My frs had a sleek look so wanted a different body kit.

Chr looks vastly different than when i bought it in 17.

 

not a fan of how dramatic it makes the CH-R look, cleaner aero can make it look both sporty and classy

 

Not a fan of these stanced models, but I love just how much room there is for customization on this car. Came across this mean looking one from Wald.

 

This kit might be restricted to JDM, but its called the LUV Line by Zeus. I like the ducktail spoiler and rear diffuser/exhaust setup.

I was looking at the Wald kit over the weekend. Its crazy how few mods can make the CH-R look a bit on the exotic end

 

Would never slam a crossover by this much, but I do like the custom paint and body work. This one is from Kuhl Racing and its utilizing an Air Force suspension. Really nice twin exit exhaust coming out the center of the diffuser, which I bet sounds great considering the size of the pipes.

 

I live in San Diego and not too far from the Mexican border. I reached out to Toyota of Tijuana since the Mexican C-HRs are the Eurospec models meaning they have the JDM bumper needed to do the conversion to add any of the aftermarket body kits. I just want to make sure if it's even possible to import the bumper over the border without breaking the bank since this is possibly the cheapest alternative IMO rather than ordering it through a shop and from Japan. Fingers crossed!

 

Oh yeah that would be a good idea. Hopefully you are able to do that cost me 1000 bucks to ship my bumper from Japan. :crying:

 

Just wanted to revive this discussion as there are so many options out there. This one is my favorite and completely opposite to the JDM.

I would love to see this come to life....:surprise:

This one is my main inspiration. A nice duckbill wing, some weird wheels, lowered on airbags. About the only thing I would add is the JDM taillights and a roof spoiler.
