Those looking to upgrade their alternators. I highly recommend doing so with AutoTech Engineering. I have a full sound system that's power hungry. I wasn't running into any problems, especially since I've already performed the Big 3 and added additional batteries. But why risk it, plus better safe than sorry. I was able to upgrade the stock alternator of 130 amps to 240 amps (and they custom painted the alternator to match the color scheme I'm going with). Installation was fairly simple...
Note: You will need to obtain a smaller size belt. In my case (Japan Built) you'll need to go from:
6PK1220/Effective Length (in): 48.03
to
6PK1205/Effective Length (in): 47.50
