1. Does using the cruse control put wear on the transmission. I know that when using the cruse control when there is a car in front of me it will slow down. I don't think this uses the breaks so it must use the transmission to slow. What do you think?




2. When I stop the CHR and am about to turn it off I usually turn off the AC first. Is this necessary? Will I do any harm if I turn off the engine with the AC running?

1. The car uses the brakes if the speed difference is to high to use the engine brake. (just like you would lift your foot from the gas pedal)
2. I never turned the AC off in the 30years.
