Hi,
I have a Toyota C-HR hybrid, from 2017. When outside is very cold, like under 0 degress, at first start there is a big shock in transmission when I switch to drive mode. I should mention that after I drive a few km and do that again, there is no shock that I feel. What can be the problem ? I was at Toyota service, but they said I have not to warry about because they did not find a probleme, but this si very strange as the car did not do that shock before.

Thanks a lot !

Just throwing this out there... I had a similar problem a month or so ago. I had kind of a "thud" upon releasing the brake to leave in the morning. During routine maintenance at the dealership, they told me that my brakes were "sticking" and needed cleaned (but the pads themselves were fine). $100 later, problem went away. Hope this helps.
