Sticking going into Reverse & 1st Gear

had car 11 months and since May it has been sticking going into reverse and now first gear- mainly in morning when its cold. Car has now spent 15 days in dealership and toyota will not fix as they can't get issue to recreate regularly. They have only witnessed problem once. It can take 3/4 goes to get car in gear and their suggestion is that i try to get another car in reverse in case i'm doing it wrong!!!! :frown2: Really fed up with car and customer service from toyota and dealership has been appalling.
