As much as I would like a roof rack on the C-HR, its price tag seems pretty steep to me at $393 CAD or around $295 USD. Is that the average price for one of should we wait for the aftermarket ones?

There are plenty of other options out there if budget is a large concern of yours, but $393 CAD is not too bad considering a similar Rhino rack kit could cost around $300 each too.

That's essentially the average price, even looking at Thule racks, there in the $275+ range. Unfortunately, I just checked and they don't have anything listed for the C-HR as of yet. But I would keep checking as they produce quality products for fair pricing.

I got the roof-rack, but kind of concerned that the way it mounts is not as... robust as some... and it'll eventually scratch parts of the door/roof despite the little rubber thing.
