Well, I have to say I was waiting and READY to buy this car ... Waiting several months (and passing up several new car releases holding to the thought THIS was to be the car) - but, that comparison of the European interior to the USA interior alone speaks volumes! I wanted a stick/manual, but for this car I was willing to give that up .. I HATE black interiors, but I was willing to overlook that - BUT, the interior for the US market looks to be from an entry level car from the 1980's! BLACK PLASTIC, period. Horrible cloth seats, no styling or design to save them - horrible. I could not believe my eyes when I hopped in to drive it! DRIVES beautifully (for an automatic), handles well .. but I would never get past the cheap interior - and for a Japanese car, to be assembled/made in TURKEY was the death knoll. PLEASE, Toyota, sell us the European version and you'll meet your sales goals and exceed them! Heck, I'd buy two! But I'm afraid by this launch you've effectively killed it's chances. I'm broken hearted.
