Specifically about the feature that locks the car when you put your finger on the mark on the door handle. It doesn't quite always work in the past week, and the remote distance is woefully short (then again maybe the dealer gave me a bad battery on the remote)

My lock handle works quite well, probably 95% of the time. Occasionally, I will have to touch the handle a second time. You are, however, 100% correct about the poor distance of the fob remote... Never owned a vehicle with school a short range...
