The Scion iA is great with it's sporty design but if the Scion iR looks like the one in the forum banner then I would rather go with that.

I just like being higher up and bonus points if the Scion iR is as affordable with a single trim.

What's in the fourms banner currenlty is just the concpet, so if you can imagine something toned down a lot, you should have the iR production model.

Are you looking at any other models currently?

I was actually thinking about the Jeep Renegade. The Kia Soul and Nissan Juke were options too but I wasn't a big fan of their exterior designs. So the main contender was the Jeep renegade but I have been reading about a few issues with it from another forum so I'm not sure if I'm willing to constantly bring it to the dealership for repairs.

The Scion iR may beat out the Renegade if it looks nice and it has the reliability of Toyota products.

I actually like the Juke, its design has been growing on me especially as it looks like nothing else out there, instead its quite unique. Plus its a Nissan, so it will be just about as reliable and feature packed as almost all other Japanese brands.

Have you thought about the Mazda CX3?

It is indeed. Even the CX-5 is much like a car, last I heard it shares a number of things with the Mazda6, these days its uncommon to have mainstream SUV's on truck platforms, or just anything other than a car platform.

I know that lowering the CX-3 will make someone think it's just a Mazda3 hatch... just have a look at this example:

Another reason for wanting one is the fact there's more interior space. Not everyone will prioritize the ride height. Some sedans sit just as high as it does. This is no truck-based SUV. Have you even seen one in person?

Isn't the production C-HR already quite low to the ground? Wouldn't lowering it even more cause problems with steep inclines, pot holes and speed bumps?
Here's the picture I was looking at for reference.
