Just picked up an '18 Ruby Flare Pearl C-HR XLE Premium in Florida. I got what I think is a real good deal. Toyota MSRP is $26,139 and the dealer added a $999 package including Clear door edge guards, Door cup guards, Window tint with lifetime warranty and lifetime car washes.

I paid:

$21,505.66
Plus sales tax $1319.87
Tag/Title $119.85

Total OTD: 22,945.38

Dealer let me pay $5000 on credit card(I will pay off when bill comes in) so I get 1.5% cash back and the balance I paid cash so I saved another $75 on the car.......I'm happy with the deal and even happier with the car!

Congrats on the CH-R and welcome to the forum! Glad to hear that dealerships are offering good incentives for interested buyers. Have any mod plans for the CH-R? Most owners haven't been too impressed with the OEM head unit.

I'm going to give my wife a few weeks to decide if she likes the Aha app and I already got her a magnetic phone mount so she can also use it for Pandora and Navi. If she doesnt like it after a few weeks I'll spring for a nice Android Auto/Apple Car play double din touchscreen.

The $999 package is kind of a joke....Basically Window tint(lifetime guarantee), Clear 3M door edge guard, lifetime car washes and cup holder protectors(whatever!). Doesnt add much value to the car to me.

I don't know if i want them washing my car... the dealer left swirl marks on the tail lights by just the car sitting on the lot. And I'm very intrigued at what a cup holder protector is?

So I guess considering my package I did OK. Granted sales tax in FL is a few percent lower than CA, so maybe I did ok? lol
