Interior Mods

Anything is possible when you can do the work But it doesn't look that hard to wrap it in a piano black vinyl. Unfortunately, I don't have one yet as I live in NA and well... yeah...

I'm surprised on how good it looks with that wrap on it. That's something to consider

Not too bad in pricing for something that makes a pretty solid difference to the steering wheel. Something I would definitely be interested in buying as it completes the look nicely.

I wonder about the thickness.. its just a piece of plastic but will it affect the horn button?
In that way just wrap the piece in glossy black is much better option.

I would think, that this plastic piece should be the same size. Depends on the quality I guess.
I'd go with the wrap, most likely cheaper too.

That looks pretty good. But $70 for some lights, that at least I barely use, is a bit much. I know a lot of people like these LED interior lights though. :grin2:

Original LED blulbs are also an option in Japan. Also not cheap! These SMD LED plates are aftermarkett.. and still a exoensive option.
But its there.... and for who its worth it.. its for sale.

That's something I'll probably opt for as I put LED lights in all of my cars... just like the output a lot better lol.

Cant place a direct link item but just go to https://www.amazon.co.jp and perform a search for "C-HR LED" and you will find them.

It might be worth first weighing out the options we have for LED lighting from aftermarket which could prove to be better. Retrofit Source forum is one good source for that kind of information. If anyone goes that route I would be interested in seeing what you find.

If there's one thing I learned from my buddies that were heavily into aftermarket mods, one thing I can tell you is to make sure you turn that lighting off once moving on the road. Cops will give you a hard time.

Thanx SiR. Never thought of that... I'd love to replace my fog lights with blue ones... Apparently there are laws against blue lights? I Google it and saw no relevant references. Must be the case huh?

Here in Netherlands its forbidden to drive around with any blue lights. If its interior light and you cant see it from outside its ok.
Blue light attracks your attention very strong.. so lets keep that colour for police, ambulance or fire department. They need that attention when used!

The blue interior lights from cupholders and doors that the C-HR have here are dimmed down when you put the stick in D.

Never thought about the legalities of interior lighting actually. That was usually reserved for exterior mods like tinting, but not there's one more item to be careful about. Maybe there's a way to install a dimmer for the blue lights.
