Has anyone found any type of hood protection...like a bug deflector or the like?

Those deflectors generally aren't the best looking, but you can always wrap the hood in a protective film like Xpel so suicidal bugs are easier to clean off and you won't be afraid to use a bit more elbow grease.

I think some people wax their clear coat so it becomes even easier to keep clean and clean when the time comes. Basically you want to treat it very much like paint.

We applied sealant, so even less maintenance than wax (reapply ever few months instead of few weeks)

I think you guys would be better off going with a stone chip/protective film, rather than one of those ugly bug deflectors. They are extremely durable and you wont have to worry about damaging the paint when removing those pesky critters. You can also opt to protect the whole hood/bumper or just the sections you are concerned about.

Good to know because now you have even easier washes to do. Just have to make sure what you use to wash won't alter the sealant. I heard some of those automated car washes at gas stations could do a number to these paint protectors.

Sir, we used (concentrate, it'll last you forever) ..
- Hydro2 Touchless Silica Sealant 500 ml.
- Chemical Guys CWS_110 Honeydew Snow Foam Car Wash Soap and Cleanser

So far, we're NEVER going to not hand-wash our car.. check back in 2-3 years maybe we'll be tired of washing by then haha.

I use sealant Collinite #845. Amazing synthetic wax for a reasonable price. And always hand wash.
After a wash it starts water beading again.

Some automatic car washes use very aggressive shampoo that kills your wax layer.
