Any body installed hitch for 2020 CHR, in Canada. I am in Toronto area, looking for a good place to get installed trailer hitch to carry my bikes.
any suggestions, when i contacted dealer, they said they wont install. To install a hitch, need to remove the bumper, so what happens the sensors etc..
Thats why i looking for an experienced installer.

I just looked into it. Here in the states we have Uhaul. If you google CHR hitch installation Uhaul you can watch a video and see one being installed. I think it is about $350 including wiring if you could get to the US.

Reviving old thread, but here's an even older thread that answered it all:


I just put in the order for the draw-tite hitch myself. It'll be for either a bike rack or a HAM radio antenna mount.

I was about to do it this past weekend but it was cold (an excuse) and I didn't have a torque wrench (also an excuse)

It's not a bad job and if anyone is handy with hand tools, you'll be able to do it no problem. I did run into a problem where I couldn't get one (maybe two can't remember) of the clips that holds the black lower plastic bumper cover into the painted part back in. There simply wasn't enough room for me to do it with the hitch in place. I've had the hitch in place with the missing clip(s) for about 3 years now and a ton of miles with no issues with body work.

So glad I went this route versus spending the money on the factory roof rails. Much more utility with the hitch.
