Hello everyone, here from Canada. Always owned a Toyota (currently Yaris Hatch), looking to test the C-HR when it arrives here, been interested in it for a while.

A bit disappointed if it doesn't have AWD here but not necessarily a deal breaker for me. Other cars considering - 2017 Subaru Impreza hatch, 2017 Mazda CX-3, maybe a VW Golf of some sort.

Welcome to the forum! I think the C-HR does come with optional AWD, a CVT-only AWD system to be exact. No idea how much extra you'll have to pay to get it.

PPF stands for Paint Protection Film. Something like a 3M clear wrap or Xpel Ultimate. Provides a great layer of protection for your paint from the elements, rock chips, scratches, etc. Totally worth it for the long run.

I figured this video might help, although its a DIY, the presenter is great at dumbing things down for the rest of us


Think of it like the screen protector on your smartphone, just now its on any part of you car you wish

If you have the time and patience to wrap a panel with PPF, then by all means. I don't think it's really worth the time to Diy and it's going to be hard to wrap the front of the C-HR with all those angles and ridges.
