Hello, I am planning on installing a dash cam to my new CHR. I want to know where is the fuse box on the CHR. Is it in front or at the back?
Thank you in advance :smile2:

Hybrid or 1.2T?

I have the 1.2T. In the NGX50 front i saw fuses next to the battery in front. You can look on google to or the digital manual on this forum, its very interesting.

Does anyone know if there's a fuse panel on the inside on the drivers side foot well area. Or... left side foot well area (for those that have RHD setups) or is it just one main fuse box under the hood?

Perfect! Thank you very much. This kind of info needs to be stickied as people typically want fuse/relay locations and information. 4 is a lot more than I would have expected. Not too sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing but once we know where they are.

@Marti05 which fuse will you be tapping for power?

The fuse box inside the car is hard to come with.

@iRobot I haven't started my installation yet, I am planning to tap to the "always hot" since I am planning to use my dashcam in park mode. But I changed my mind I think my battery will be drained if I do that.

When I run dashcams over night on cars I add a 5w solar panel to the passenger sun visor. My motorola mdc100 only pulls 200ma. So every hour of sun gets me two hours of camera. I only run cams that have no screen or an option to turn them off. Some draw 1.5a at 5v.

When I leave a light on inside the car it all goes off after a while. I wonder if this might happen to any fuses inside too.

You can buy an obd port power plug for this but havnt checked if it will work well with the chr yet. Sometimes sticks out. Then you can use that for solar and cam.
