Hello all,

I've owned my C-HR for a little over a year now and I just discovered these in my trunk (under the cover where the spare tire is) with a bag of screws: TOYOTA C-HR Fender Deflector Right and Left 53851-F4020 53852-F4010 OEM | eBay. I understand that they are fender deflectors (I believe for the front). Why are they in my trunk? Should they have been installed and weren't by mistake? Is this an optional accessory that I am supposed to install myself? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Those deflector should be installed at the dealer. It goes on the front bumper. See pic

Thank you! Were these not installed by mistake or is it something optional? What purpose do they serve? I guess I can have them installed at my next maintenance service visit.

Yeah. They were installed on my 2018 yet, there was another set in my rear storage. Apparently, the dealer has no idea what to do with these things.
I'm not really sure I know their purpose...

Mine were installed on my 2018 before I bought it new. None in the spare tire area. Appears to be an air deflector to get a downflow just in front of the front tires, but I've never seen anything like this before.
