Click sensation in steering after start up
I was just was wondering if this was normal or if others are getting this click feeling in through the steering? Let me try my best to explain it.
When I start the vehicle and proceed to turn the steering wheel, it seems like I can feel a click or release feeling through the steering coming from somewhere down the steering column. It feels like the steering was locked and has just released causing that click feeling. I know the steering wheel locks when the car is off. I get this only the first time I turn the steering wheel after starting the car. I would feel better knowing its just something normal that occurs on this set up for the Toyota. The steering is fine after that, its just that initial move of the steering wheel and I can feel that sensation. Maybe it is just more pronounced on this vehicle. Any opinions?
