So I'm not sure if this is what you had, but I have been driving my car when the light would flicker. Steering would get a little heavy and then go back to normal. What did the garage say?
CHR-slip indicator light flashing
Whilst driving my CHR slowly with light break load and then increasing pressure, engine revs lowered as though going to stall, slip indicator light flashed and awful grinding noise. Info says contact dealer immediately. Car is 4 months old with just under 3000 miles on the clock. Sitting at dealership at the moment. Has anyone had this or a similar issue.
