I tried to clean the front window glass but it left some smears. Will not clean properly like other cars I have owned. I tried several different types of cleaners and even tried just water but after I clean it and driving towards the sun it shows smears. Anyone else have this problem? I understand the CH-R is made in Turkey. Maybe the glass they use is not as good as glass made in USA?

try this, worked for me. Stay out of direct sunlight when cleaning.

1. spray some windowcleaner on a microfiler sponge
2. rub/clean youw window with it
3. wipe window off with a clean microfiber towell (if you have use waffled window towell!)
4. take clean parts of towell and wipe down again

(5. Repeat the steps in needed)

DON´T Spray windowclearer direct on your window.. and start rubbing with towell. That just dont work properly !!

Now my windshield is crystal clear, no fingertips, no smears, nothing! By the way, I bought the same glass cleaner spray, it's the best what I've used so far.

Me too, the same cleaner. If does work pretty well. Like I said stay out the direct sunlight when cleaning though as one time I was just cleaning the outside glass using the cleaner and with the heat from the sun, it was smear city.
