I have the 2018 CH-R and am disappointed that it did not come with a CD player. Is there a small CD player that I can just plug in and it will play through my car speakers using the USB or other plug? I do not want to take out my installed radio but would like it to maybe just lay on the passenger seat while I am driving. Thanks.

Hi, if you have the usb/ audio jack in the center console then you should be able to play a cd/mp3 player through the audio plug. i did this for a while with a old ipod tell i get a android heat unit. the down side is that you will have to change songs or other stuff through the cd player/mp3.

I suppose you could just get a portable CD player and connect it via the AUX port. It would however make more sense to just rip your cd's to a USB stick. That way youll be able to control it with the infotainment system and it'll hold far more songs.

hey there, i found a kit from these guys and it works great in my chr. works through the usb port. they were very helpful when i emailed them some questions before i purchased
