It's little annoying that browsing function disables when vehicle starts to move. Since the US model does not have built in GPS I'm thinking the head units gets a signal from somewhere else. Does anyone have any idea how this function is triggered? I'm thinking it might be as simple as cutting an input lead to the head unit? Any thoughts?

Its for this reason alone that I've always preferred to just use an auxiliary connection for music. I typically find it easier to control music selection right from my Ipod, than whatever infotainment system the car has. Unfortunately this doesn't keep your devices charged, but they have decent battery life. I'd also like to know if anyone finds a legit workaround.
