They pretty much kept the front wheel drive and four-cylinder engine layout, but so many things were changed to get that 600 ponies. Sounds fun to launch from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds, but man is that going to be expensive if Dan Garder Spec ever decides to sell them.

Too bad that now you can say its almost not a CH-R. Although it was the SEMA show and often things are done BIG at that show, it would have been great to see something a bit more practical that we can get our hands on.
  • 300 pounds of downforce at speed
  • Carbon fiber bits shave weight
  • Several hundred pounds lighter than stock
  • Turbocharged 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder
  • 23 psi of boost
  • 600 horsepower
  • Still FWD
  • Triple adjustable dampers
  • Extensive on-track development

That's a serious list of specifications, ladies, and gentlemen. Now I understand why it's so freaking fast in the video. In my opinion, this is a well-done tuning with great components.

That's what I'd expect to see when someone shoehorns a Hellcat engine into other cars and sometimes you wonder, why?
Must be lacking rear seat inside to cut off several hundred pounds.
