Too bad Toyota is only giving these C-HR branded things to their salespeople and not car buyers. I'd like to at least get that backpack or jacket.

Great incentive for first buyers, I bet if they made it available to buyers of say the first month then you would see a big increase in sales. But if Toyota is trying to get into lifestyle accessories, starting with front line employees is also effective.

I wouldn't have really expected them to just give it to the sales people and not the actual buyers. That's weird.. but maybe you can try to talk up a sales person and try to snag the bag

Easier to sell people on this stuff when you create a lifestyle on it. That appeal goes away when its free. Walking into a dealer to buy a CH-R and seeing CH-R apparel makes you naturally ask how much.

I have zero problem paying for it
