Once again, after owning this car for 9 months, it has another door ding from another idiot and this time it's the biggest one I had now since it involves a scratch that's more than likely into the primer. This frustrating, I may have to go and spend more money again to fix this **** up.

Good news, I took it to a small body shop that was recommended by a mechanic that I frequent and he took care of the scratch without resorting to repainting the entire door and saved me a bunch of money. You can't see it or even feel up close.

I thought Toyota Care only handles mechanical issues? I was offered the paint protection plan when I bought my car, but I turned it down since it was way more than I wanted to pay monthly. Wow, now I wish I could turn back time and tell myself to just get it back then.

Ah that's right. I opted for the tire/ding plan for ~10 extra per month. I'm planning to keep it for 1-2 years then cancel it.
