Wheel offset on C-HR

I recently purchased a new 2019 C-HR, LE trim level. I have purchased 17 inch aftermarket alloy wheels with an offset of 35 mm. My understanding is that the factory spec for this car is 45 mm. If I use the tires received on the car at purchase (215-60-R17), will this cause any interference or steering issues. Approximately 3/8 inch more offset than factory steel rims.

You can go 20x8.5 +35 just outside of the fender but if you get 20x8 is tuck in the fender. You can go 255x35x20 or 225x35x20 stretch. I don't have any problem as far the steering wheel and I drop it like 1".

So what would be a good sized wheel for a flush fitment that won't rub and not need to roll my fenders?

How wide did you go on your wheels? I went with 8" with a 40mm offset and the stock tires clear with no problem. The section width of the tire is dead even with the front fender and the narrow tread width allows for plenty of clearance.
