Wink Kevin from Vancouver (Richmond)

Hello, I just got mine last Thursday. Pretty pleased with the purchase so far. It seems like there's only a handful of these in Vancouver! Maybe 5, and one or two of them are manager's cars? Apparently Toyota issued a stop order for them recently so you can't purchase them in the short term.

Welcome, congrats for your new ride. I agree with you, the c-hr is not common in BC.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new car!

I'm not sure how many C-HRs we have here in Toronto, but it's definitely more than 5

If you don't mind mentioning, how much did you pay out the door?

I hope you're ready for all the mess winter brings to white paint

Not as bad as what you'd see on black paint in the winter.
Any idea what the stop sale order was issued for? They usually don't do that unless it's for a very good reason.

Hello, sorry for not replying for awhile but...

I got the Premium package with a roof rack and fog lights. After everything was said and done it was just under $30k.

As for the stop sale, it was probably just the firmware update? The salesman seemed to think they would be restarting sales after a month or something. (But then we'd still have to wait 3 months here in Canada since they manufacture in Turkey.)

As for all the salt from the last few weeks, it's been not too bad. I might have obsessively hosed it down a bit though...

So far (since first released in May)

Having pre-ordered ours, we picked it up the first day of release locally. I have numerous vehicles and the CHR is currently sitting in the garage still Spring at just over 6000 km's. I have followed the Navigation threads with some interest but have decided ours will stay as is for the time being. I will try and get around to posting how I have mounted a Garmin GPS. I had to modify the USB plug to enable charging only otherwise the infotainment unit would try to sync all the time. I have a lift in my garage and will be doing my own maintenance.
