CH-R sudden loss of power

Our 2-year old CH-R had a sudden engine failure going up a hill. Pressed the accelerator but no power at all. Afterwards engine started again an hour later when tow truck came. It is petrol 2WD. There have been suggestions of wrong or contaminated fuel but we have only ever used 95 or 98 fuel. Dealer says it was a computer glitch. Very scary experience as we were going uphill, only one lane and nowhere to pull over. Has anyone else experienced this with their CH-R?

Yeah, I had a similar problem. It was recovered after the engine was stopped and restarted.

"Petrol"???
Isn't this is the North-American C-HR website.

But, it does seem that it may be a fuel contamination issue.
