Break Rotor Back Plate

I had my first checkup on my 2018 CH-R and they went over the car and rotated the tires. After a few days I heard a scraping noise coming from one of the tires. I had it towed back to the dealers and they told me the break rotor was scraping against the back plate. I guess whoever rotated my tires might have done this accidentally but am not sure. They fixed it and told me that the way the CH-R is constructed these parts are very close to each other. Anyone have this problem?

The scraping noise is during normal driving, or when you brake, or? I'm about due for my first 5k checkup with the dealership. I sincerely hope their tech would not be so neglectful...

Doesn't sound like a design flaw with the C-HR but more of an oversight from a technician. Not sure if I would be interested in returning to a shop that cant even manage a simple tire rotation..this was at a Toyota dealership?

I had the checkup at a Toyota Dealer. The scraping noise was noticeable when driving. They said it is due to the way the CH-R was built. I wonder if that
is true or just a technician not putting the tire on correctly.
