Self healing paint?

So, our cars have this self-healing paint? How does it work?

I would say coating, not paint.

The video says... it is only for micro cuts (webbing, etc)

Basically sun heats up the clear coat and it'll fill in those cuts. Making it less noticeable. The downside is you're using your clear coat to fill your paint... lol.

Had anyone put ceramic coating over this self healing paint? Would it be ok to do so, it should I save my money?

Also, can anyone confirm that this self healing coating event exists in the C-HR? I can't find anything to confirm it.

Thats correct. But, just treat it as a usual normal paint so a coating or wax is no problem.

My bodyshop even wetsanded my black roof to get birdsh*t spots away.
Because of the self-healing paint it normally does not need a 2nd polish after a week.. and if you still see some wetsand or birdsh*t spots just give it a 2nd good polish.

I can't confirm for any one, including the Toyota and Lexus dealers that the C-HR has this paint in the US!
