I like the black wrap under the headlights, ties into the lower grille very well. Reminds me of the Lexus grille design with how it pinches in the middle.
But that front spoiler with the light looks like the one from Modellista.
I legit had to put the two pictures side by side to see the differences between the Modellista and TRD kits. I do like those lip lights though, something about them really gets me. I really need to see these in person though because I have a feeling they'll look very Need For Speed.
They are very similar with small differences. I actually prefer the TRD Aero Kit on the yellow C-HR except for the large black fender flares. The factory wheel arches are already large enough, there's really no need to make them even beefier.
The OE fenders and quarters definitely show a good amount of definition when it comes to width. But I do like how the yellow one with the flares matches up with the side plastic panels. That being said, it definitely seems a little excessive. This may actually be a tougher decision then I thought though. Initially I really liked the white one completely over the yellow, but now that I keep looking back at them, it's kind of evening out with pros and cons to each.
Toyota Racing Development (TRD) is the same division responsible for the off-road-ready variants of the Tacoma, Tundra, and 4Runner. Surprised they haven't come out with something more off-road orientated.
I like how these kits look but I can't help but think how much better the CH-R can look with a spindle grille and the new camry is a good example of that already happening with Toyota:
The TRD kits actually looks even better in real life, but the side skirts on that Aggressive Style kit is just trying too hard. May as well lower the C-HR while you're at it.
I can't picture a spindle grille on the C-HR to be honest.. The new Camry looks really good though, blew away a lot of people.
The Aggressive kit does look like it needs "more low" indeed. The side skirt is a bit F&F but I feel it does work with the rest of the kit so it may look awkward with something much simpler.
The spindle grille works on the camry since its body isn't as angular and sharp as the C-HR, the the spindle grille gives it a bit more aggressiveness. Putting it on the C-HR may make it look too much like a Lexus and that's probably not something they want. I think it could work if done in the right proportions, but we'll never know.
Think the tuning companies will move onto the interior next? The C-HR interior is already so futuristic and sleek, can't see them doing much to improve it.
This thread is old but wondering if anyone else has seen this TRD seat cover for the CHR. Saw it on the Rakuten Global Market web site. I did not look to see if there is something similar for the North American market.
Hi,
I would like to know if someone here knows where can i find accessories for Toyota C-HR.
chrome frames, side steps etc...
will be happy to get some info.
Thanks,
Nir.
Too bad we can't get the LED lights under the fogs without extending the bumper. Those lights are nice but the I just don't like how beefy the Aggressive spoiler looks on the C-HR.
With universal aftermarket LED fog light kits you can mimic that for under $200, not hard and its easy enough to mount up or if you can't do it yourself pay a shop, even that will be cheap.
Those essentially are just universal LED strips that you could either do a jacked up way and stick em' there or cut little rectangles into the bumper at the bottom and flush mount them really easily.

I guess it was only a matter of time until someone in Japan modded their car. this modded C-HR looks eerily similar to the rendered one with a TRD kit except for the air intake trim.
Seeing a picture from real world does make it look a bit different... I'm not too sure how I feel about it anymore. The front end just looks so blunt edged.
Russian tuners have been known for coming up with crazy designs and the CH-R is the perfect canvas for them to continue this on. Already the LX has something crazy from them. But how many of you here are content with TRD?
I would say I'm "satisfied" with it. It does a good job of looking unique and different when driving around the streets but I think it could look better.
I actually prefer the unassuming TRD that's not in your face. More dramatic kits for a car like the C-HR will definitely be released at some point, just depends on what you like aesthetically and huge spoilers with rear wings just aren't my cup of tea.
I would be interested in getting those over fenders alone and molding them in. Give it a slight wide-body look to it all while keeping it clean and original looking.
Expensive website.. better order directly from Japan and import yourself.
