Plug-in chr

Hello, I am looking for a plug-in car.
However I like chr very much.

My wonder is why it cannot be plugged?
It isn't so difficult. All that is needed is a ac/dc power supply/charger and an electrical input for charging.
You can either have the charger installed in the car or not.

Why not plugging in is not available;

I know that it is not a phev...

However, lets say that you don't refill gas and you move only with electricity...
If I had a power supply to charge batteries whenever i park the car, i whould only move with electricity.

So i would convert it to phev.

Why Toyota doesn't make this option available?

Is this the maximum speed of the electrical engine;

If yes what happens over 40kms per hour?

Does the gas engine work alone or in combination with the electrical engine?

In EV mode, the max is 40km/h.
Else the car is boss over the two engines and use them how ever it wants.

The car can go to EV at max 110km/h, if it conditions are right for the car

A PHEV you can drive EV all the time.

Ok, lets say now that batteries are fully charged and you move only in ev mode at 40 km per hour without braking or recharging the batteries via any other possible way...

How many kilometres autonomy will you have;
