Cool How to install the OEM fog light kit, for north america version

Dear all,
In Canada, even we purchased the XLE premium version, we still got two ugly plastic covers in the front bumper. It was killing me to see that. So, every day I saw that reminded me to replace it with two shiny OEM fog lights.

You could buy the fog light kit from eBay. Here is the link:https://www.ebay.com/itm/2018-TOYOTA...dZBjA1&vxp=mtr

And most of the seller on eBay won't attached the installation instruction. So let me paste it here in case you are going to install it by yourself. It was super EASY!!!
Here is the link to installation instruction:

P.S. Don't trust the instruction 100%, remove the front bumper will make your job smoothly.

I could have done without the folding mirrors, but I def had to have the fog lights and push button start. Its too bad that your premium model does not come with fog lights. That makes no sense why they would leave off other than to keep the cost down.

Tell me about it and features like that are just about the cheapest you can do. I think its more to let people see the value in high trims. The more they take away from lower trims the more they can give to higher ones.

I replaced mine with H 11 Heise brand LED lightbulbs but a 15 minute swap made a huge difference. We sell them for $100 a pair

So called Toyota dealer near my job they want $260 to install the fog lights they say it's a two hour job at $130 a hour but honestly I would rather have a certified Toyota person do the job and have it covered under warranty than take my risks. Still gonna quote a few other dealers nearby and see what they say.

Cant believe how many things Toyota skimmed out on for North American customers. If its only costing a couple hundred bucks to install after the fact, it should have just come that way from factory. I'm assuming that price at the dealership doesn't include parts?

Late to the game on the response here, but I got a quote from my dealership today (Wesley Chapel Toyota) for installation of the OEM fogs. $580. If I wanted to buy the OEM set from them and install myself, that's $259.

I found a set on Amazon for $50, and it looks like an exact fit for the mounting brackets. Comes with relay and switch too. I'll probably order it and put some time aside on a weekend to do it myself. It isn't OEM, but $50 sure as **** beats almost $600. Link below.
