Catch The Toyota C-HR At The Toronto Autoshow

First debuting in Canada at the Montreal Autoshow in January, the Toyota C-HR is now making its way across the country and interested buyers in Toronto can catch a glimpse of it at the 2017 Canadian International Autoshow (CIAS).

On display was a red XLE Premium model with a 144 hp, 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. It’s good for sending 139 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels through a continuously-variable automatic transmission. If you’re looking for something different then this well-equipped crossover may be the vehicle for you as it comes standard with a set of two-tone 17-inch wheels, back-up camera, LED daytime running lamps, heated exterior mirrors and the Toyota Safety Sense P package.

Unfortunately, the C-HR on display was fenced off from the public which means we were unable to photograph the various cabin features including a 7” infotainment display, 4.2” multi-information display, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, heated front seats with driver’s power lumbar and more.

Once on sale buyers can choose to add on optional features like rear cross traffic alert, blind sport monitor, power folding mirrors, smart key system, push button start or a set of 18” alloy wheels with all season tires.

Those interested in seeing the C-HR in real life better hurry because the 2017 Canadian International Autoshow’s last day is on Sunday.

That's too bad, would have been nice to see the interior and every little detail of the front dash, center console, and gauge cluster. Sometimes journalists don't pay enough attention to those areas.

With how the C-HR's exhaust looks, people will have a hard time finding an aftermarket exhaust that fits and it's one of the changes modders like to make.

I would honestly end up cutting holes in the bumper and putting surround rings just to make life easier. They don't have any cutouts and it's just an under side turn-down pipe. Annoying.

Something like this but actually round and with a bit of pipe sticking out.

Looks like there's barely any space for you to cut around the exhaust opening. I'm sure if there's a then the aftermarket will deliver. We're already seeing custom C-HR models from aftermarket companies and it's only a matter of time until they do something with the pipe. I prefer to leave everything stock aside from factory options.
